Gold parties are quickly becoming a fun means for raising money for charitable organizations. These events can be quite simple and easy to put together. Typically we see these events hosted somewhere that can accomodate more people but it is not uncommon to see them hosted at someone's home. Simple beverages and snacks seem to be common but check out our Fundraising page for more information. On occassion we do see the gold party incorporated as part of a larger event that is being put on by the organization.

Charitable events have a higher percentage payed to the "host" which is 15% instead of our standard 10%. We also ask that those participating in the event contribute at least 10% of their gold sold to the hosting charity. In total the charity would receive the equivalent to 25% of the total value of gold sold at the gold party.
